For those coming by public transportation
Hokkaido Chuo Bus operates a route bus that connects Lake Shikotsu, Chitose Station, Minami-Chitose Station, and New Chitose Airport.

■ From Chitose
From JR Chitose Line "Chitose" Station or "Minami-Chitose" Station, take the Hokkaido Chuo Bus bound for "Shikotsu Lake" (Route No.: Sora 4) and get off at the last bus stop, "Shikotsu Lake" (approximately 44 minutes from Chitose Station, approximately 50 minutes from Minami-Chitose Station).
■ From the airport
From New Chitose Airport, take the Hokkaido Chuo Bus bound for Lake Shikotsu (domestic bus stop 28 or 1, international bus stop 85) and get off at the last bus stop, Lake Shikotsu (approximately 55 minutes).
Please take the train to Chitose Station or Minami-Chitose Station and transfer to a bus.
For those coming by private car or rental car
■ From Chitose
Approximately 30 minutes (25km) from central Chitose City via Route 16.
Approximately 40 minutes (30km) from New Chitose Airport via Route 36 and Route 16.
■ From Tomakomai
Approximately 30 minutes (25km) from central Tomakomai via National Route 276
